What is SalonGhor?

SalonGhor is a platform that connects customers with salons, parlours, and barbershops across Bangladesh. You can search by location, view services and prices, book appointments, and read reviews.

Is SalonGhor available across Bangladesh?

Yes. We use Bangladesh's administrative structure (division, district, upazila, area) so you can search for salons anywhere in the country.

Do I need to create an account to book?

You can browse and book without an account. For features like favourites and booking history, we store your profile locally in your browser.

For Customers

How do I find a salon near me?

Go to the search page and select your division, district, upazila, or area. You can also filter by category (salon, parlour, barber). Results show salons in your chosen location.

How do I book an appointment?

Open a salon's page, select the services you want, choose a time, and enter your name and phone number. The salon will receive your booking and may confirm or contact you.

How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Contact the salon directly using the details on their page. Each salon manages their own cancellation and rescheduling policy.

What does chair status (Free, Active, Reserved) mean?

Free = chair is available. Active = a customer is currently being served. Reserved = booked for an upcoming appointment. This helps you estimate wait time before visiting.

Can I save my favourite salons?

Yes. Click the heart icon on a salon page to add it to your favourites. Your list is stored locally on your device (up to 50 salons).

How do I leave a review?

Open the salon page and scroll to the reviews section. You can submit one review per salon. Your review helps other customers choose.

What is the QR code scanner for?

If a salon displays a QR code, you can scan it to open their SalonGhor page directly — useful when you're at the salon or see their poster.

For Business Owners

How do I register my salon on SalonGhor?

Click "Register Business" or "List your business" and fill in your business name, address, phone, email, and location (division, district, upazila, area). You'll receive login details to access your dashboard.

What are 1st grade and 2nd grade salon plans?

2nd grade is for smaller salons (up to 5 chairs, 5 staff, 30 services). 1st grade is for larger salons (up to 15 chairs, 20 staff, unlimited services) with priority listing. Both include a 10-day free trial.

How do I add services and set prices?

After logging in, go to Dashboard → Services. Add each service with name, duration (minutes), and price in BDT. You can organise services by category.

How do I add staff members?

Go to Dashboard → Staff. Add team members with their name and role. Customers can see your team on your salon page.

How do I set my opening hours?

Go to Dashboard → Settings. Set your opening and closing times for each day of the week. You can mark days as closed.

How do I manage chair status?

Use the dashboard to update each chair's status (free, active, reserved). Customers see this in real time. You can also assign staff to chairs when they're active.

Where do I see my bookings?

Go to Dashboard → Bookings. You can view incoming appointments and manage your schedule.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the login page, click "Forgot password" and enter your email. We'll send you a link to reset your password.

Why do you use local storage?

We store favourites and reviewed salons in your browser's local storage for convenience. This data stays on your device. See our Cookie Policy for more.
